This one is perfect for my ninth graders!!! The language is so hard for my kids to get the "tha's" and "sho nuff's," but we're making it. They can't wait to see the "Halle Berry movie." America's Choice made an excellent choice with this selection. I'm thinking of introducing a little Alice Walker after this author study. We'll see how this plays out...
